Railroad Construction Manager Salary: $100K-$150K Location: Boiling Springs, PA Position Overview The Railroad Construction Superintendent will oversee and coordinate all aspects of railroad construction projects, ensuring that they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires a strong background in railroad construction and management to lead teams effectively and maintain high standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities Manage daily operations of railroad construction projects, including scheduling and work assignments. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout all phases of construction. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and budgets. Conduct site inspections to ensure work is performed to specifications and quality standards. Maintain accurate records of project activities, including progress reports and incident logs. Manage and mentor construction staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as a Railroad Superintendent or in a similar role within the industry. In-depth knowledge of railroad construction practices and safety regulations. Experience with project management and budget oversight is a plus. Ability to read and interpret rail blueprints, plans, and specifications. Familiarity with earthwork and site work in railroad construction is preferred. Certifications relevant to railroad construction management are advantageous.
