• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1980–$2120\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks\n
• Start Date: November 17, 2025\n
• Location: Pratt, KS 67124 (Kansas travel nursing job)\n
• Healthcare Setting: Community Hospital Operating Room\n
• Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (06:30 – 15:00)\n
• Hours per Week: 40\n
• Call Requirements: Call every 5th or 6th weekend and one day during the week\n
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics\n
• Unit Details: 5 OR rooms, daily census of 12\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (proficiency in Ortho/total joints, general, and OB required)\n
• Active Kansas RN license or compact state nursing license\n
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required\n
• Proficiency with electronic charting systems (any system accepted)\n
• Experience with orthopedic, GYN, podiatry, general, endoscopy, and labor & delivery (C-sections) procedures\n
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)\n
• First-time travel nurses not accepted\n

\n\nOR RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Circulate in the operating room for a variety of surgical procedures, including orthopedics (total joints), general surgery, OB, GYN, podiatry, and endoscopy\n
• Assist with special procedures such as C-sections, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and hip fracture surgeries\n
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with infection control, fire safety, laser, and radiation safety protocols\n
• Accurately handle and label specimens, following universal protocol (time out) procedures\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Pharmacy\n
• Participate in call rotation and provide coverage as scheduled\n
• Float to other nursing units as needed\n
