Marketing Associate Internship

We are seeking a high energy, creative, adaptable, resourceful, and outgoing personality to join our marketing team as a “Marketing Associate Intern”. As an interactive and digital agency, Spritz is a group of creative, like-minded individuals focused on a singular objective: formulate, develop and execute innovative marketing strategies, cutting edge interactive work, and solutions to many businesses challenges for clients in hospitality, sports, lifestyle and entertainment sectors.

We live and breathe the San Francisco community, its unique vibe, its forward-thinking people and upbeat energy. We work with small and medium sized companies, local businesses, non-profit organizations, and start-ups, launching them and/or managing their marketing and branding needs. You must be willing to learn + perform in a fast-paced environment and work within a nimble, versatile team. You will have the opportunity to cross train and to learn the ins and outs of traditional and digital marketing, in an entrepreneurial agency that includes in-house creative & technical teams. We pride ourselves on our vast business network to support out clients’ objectives. The internship is intended to transition into a full time Spritz staff position.

Your internship work:

• Assist in creating proposals for new business inquiries
• Assist Marketing and Account Manager with ongoing projects: social media, event marketing, influencer marketing, strategic partnerships, email marketing, PR, research, etc.
• Assist with Marketing recaps for clients
• Assist with the creation of creative briefs
• Assist with social media content creation
• Manage Spritz email database
• Event marketing support
• Content writing for Spritz blogs, newsletters, and social
• Meeting preparation: welcome signs, calendar invites, conference room set-up
• Support Agency principals as needed

About you:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Organizational and time management skills, attention to detail
• Team player, but able to work autonomously
• Ability to multitask and support multiple projects
• Ability to think out of the box
• Good understanding of marketing principles
• Previous experience in marketing or experience in leadership in extracurricular activities
• Marketing/Communication agency experience is a strong advantage
• Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn; desire to constantly learn new skills and grow
• Passionate spirit and high energy; willingness to work at weekend client events
• Experience with MS Office and Google Suite, Social media management
• Windows/Mac OS cross-literacy is a plus

Full-time position – 6-month contract | Remote Position | Monthly stipend
