We identified unique selling points to connect the dots between the brand and top-end selected partners representing target demographics. We created excitement and synergy around the brand and put a local spin on the interpretation of corporate initiatives. Partnership tie-ins included the Sonoma International Film Festival, fashion events, the Bank of the West Classic tennis tournament, major consumer festivals such as Sunset Magazine's Celebration Weekend, gourmet food and wine event Eat Drink SF, sponsorships for charity fundraisers, promotions with top restaurants and attractions, LGBT programming and happenings at iconic landmarks such as the Ferry Building, resulting in broad coverage in major Bay Area print and digital publications, high-traffic blogs, television and radio.
Northern California and San Francisco Bay Area took over as America's best performing market in terms of cruise bookings. We secured coverage in major Bay Area print and digital publications, television and radio: iHeart Radio, KRON-TV, KGO Radio, Alice Radio, GEV Magazine, Haute Living,
Examiner, San Jose Mercury News, San Francisco Bay Times and others. On the social media
front, Twitter followers increased by 80% in 12 months. We also negotiated and executed
major year-round partnerships as the “Official Cruise Line” of the Sonoma International Film
Festival and the Richmond/Ermet Aid Foundation.
