Launched in 2010, Oakland Restaurant Week is an annual dining promotion presented by Visit Oakland, a non-profit destination marketing organization for Oakland, California.

Over 90 restaurants joined in the effort to highlight the many diverse flavors of Oakland by offering enticing meals at special prices.

The Challenge

  6. Secured print, digital radio and broadcast coverage including: CBS KPIX5, KTVU, NBC, OAKLAND NEWS NOW, ABC7 and more.
  7. Developed social media strategy to promote Oakland Restaurant Week, provided theme, messaging, posts, recommended graphics, social media toolkits, on-site coverage, and more
  8. Collaborated with Andrew Freeman for overall strategy and industry night

Over 90 restaurants joined in the effort to highlight the flavors of Oakland thanks to the Visit Oakland team and Spritz restaurant outreach.

More than 22.7 million impressions with media partners, advertising, and media publications through digital, print, radio, and TV coverage.

Set up a special Oakland Restaurant Week Eve Influencer Dinner with selected influencers. Influencers who promoted Oakland Restaurant Week have a total of 339,186 followers.
