This August, the America’s Cup World Series sailed through San Francisco, giving spectators a glimpse of what next year’s main event has in store. This qualifying competition was the first time San Francisco has hosted the America’s Cup. People of all ages from all over the world came to watch the 45-foot catamarans race through the Bay.

As a precursor to the main event in 2013, the America’s Cup World Series will be coming to San Francisco again this coming October. Next Summer at the main event, four countries are set to compete in the Louis Vuitton Cup for the right to challenge Larry Ellison’s Team Oracle USA, the defending America’s Cup champions. Those races will feature 72-foot-long sailboats for the first time.

Those looking for an even more memorable experience can sign up for premium offers via CupNetwork. One of these offers includes the chance to charter USA 76, an America’s Cup boat, right next to the course during the World Series!

On September 29, Spritz partnered with America Scores to generate media coverage, event participation, and to help break the Guinness World Record for most soccer dribblers at one time. This event raised funds and awareness for youth academic and literature programs.
