Swinging into the Holidays

By: Spritz  |  December 3, 2012  |

November has come and gone, bringing in the cool winter air and delightful holiday treats! While others may have been growing impressive Movember Mustaches, here at Spritz we were busy tending our portfolio. We are excited and proud to share the addition of our newest client…the Sonoma International Film Festival!

The 16th Annual Sonoma International Film Festival will take place from April 10–14, 2013 in the heart of Northern California’s Wine Country. With the goal to welcome, entertain and inspire, this boutique celebration of film, food and wine welcomes cinephiles and gourmands alike, and will screen more than 90 hand-selected films including independent features, documentaries, world cinema, shorts and a showcase of Spanish language films. All the films are shown at intimate venues within walking distance on Sonoma’s historic plaza.

This unique five-day festival also offers world-class cuisine from local artisans and exceptional wine from Sonoma vintners. Renowned filmmakers, industry leaders and celebrities such as Bruce Willis, Susan Sarandon, Robin Williams and Danny Glover have walked the festival red carpet and enjoyed its intimate ambiance.

Spritz – Classic with a Modern Edge

By: Spritz  |  November 6, 2012  |

On October 24, the Spritz team rallied in the spirit of San Francisco pride, and went to the first game of the World Series at AT&T Park. Decked out in Giants gear and twirling our rally towels, we remained standing for just about the entire time, cheering loud enough for Hunter Pence to hear us from the outfield. When Pablo hit his first of three homeruns just rows away from us, the stands went absolutely wild. The air buzzed with electric energy throughout all nine innings. We made friends with fellow fans, giving high-fives every time our team got a run or base hit.

Three games and one sweep later, the Giants secured their spot as the 2012 World Champions and were welcomed home with a victory parade through the city by an estimate of over one million fans. During and after the game, we shared our photos and videos with friends on social media, and even included some of it in marketing efforts for our clients in sports related industries. It’s a great feeling to be able to say that we were a part of this historic championship, it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Warriors-Suns Game

By: Spritz  |  October 25, 2012  |

The Spritz team rallied for an exciting night out at the Oracle Arena in Oakland on Tuesday, October 23rd to cheer on the Golden Gate Warriors in their preseason finale against the Phoenix Suns. We invited friends and VIP guests to join us in a viewing suite to socialize, network and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and libations, as the Warriors proved dominance and spirit on the court. Warriors David Lee and Harrison Barnes blazed the trail to a 107- 92 victory with 16 points each, and the halftime show wowed fans with athletes making slam dunks while performing tricks on a trampoline. The evening was filled with laughter and great conversation, and was truly bonding experience for Spritz.
